Course Overview
Objectives
This course provides a grounding in key Enactor concepts, instructs client and partner delivery teams on configuring the Enactor solution for a standard Retail POS environment, and introduces the processes required to manage and operate the Enactor estate.
After attending, participants should understand and be able to explain the overall structure of the Enactor solution, including the Estate Manager and Store components. They will be able to configure the solution to meet the needs of a simple retail environment, know where to find further information when needed, and be prepared for more detailed courses on specific areas of Enactor functionality such as deployment and integration.

The course is recommended for 4-6 attendees, with a maximum of 8. The duration of the course is four days.

The attendees of the training are expected to be all those who will be actively involved in Enactor Solution Delivery projects, including:
- Application Specialists

Prerequisites
Attendees should have a good understanding of Retail Systems concepts, particularly Point of Sale/Service, Shopfloor processes and Merchandise Management. Experience with Point-of-Sale solutions would be useful but not essential.
Infrastructure Requirements
This training will normally be held at the Enactor offices in Hertford. Enactor will supply all required infrastructure. Participants should bring their own laptops so they can get hands-on practice.
Participants will be contacted before the training takes place to confirm they can connect successfully to the training environment from their laptop. It is therefore essential that Enactor receives a list of the attendees and their contact details at least a week in advance of the training start date.
This training can be provided remotely if required. However, holding the course on-site is recommended if possible.
