At the end of this session, you will be able to:

• Configure diary entries to execute regular processes such as broadcasts
• Understand and explain the purposes of the different types of logs
• Understand the use of Log Alerts
• Use the Estate Monitor to review the status of devices across the Retail Estate
• Use Scheduled Jobs to view the status and progress of background jobs
• Use the Service Status view to check the status of background services

Exercise 3 - Regular Broadcast Scheduling

1. Find your predefined broadcast configuration
2. Check that it is configured to send to your device
3. Save the Predefined Broadcast
4. Schedule it using the bell button
5. Set up the Diary Entry: Location - Estate Manager; Device - Estate Manager; Subject - Config Broadcast; Start Date - Today; Start Time / End Time - 8AM - 10PM; Occurs - every Hour
6. Save the Diary Entry
