At the end of this session, you will be able to:

  • Understand locale and regional localisation in Enactor
  • Configure a Locale, including language and regional format settings
  • Configure currency settings
  • Configure Application Translations for display text

  • Country Codes - ISO country codes used throughout Enactor configuration
  • Currencies - currency definitions and decimal place settings
  • Locale - language and regional format settings for display and input
  • Application Translation - translatable text strings used throughout the application

Exercise 9 - Localisation

  1. Set your Store Location to use the Swedish (Sweden) locale
  2. Set your TRAINx user to use the Swedish (Sweden) locale
  3. In Application Translations, review the following: Application Package: Enactor POS; Locale: Swedish (Sweden); Message Set: Sale; Message ID: SCAN_OR_ENTER_PRODUCT
  4. Broadcast the changes to the POS
  5. Check the POS message shown once you've logged in with your user.
