Introduction

This section opens the Introduction to Store Deployment training course, covering the course objectives, schedule, and agenda.

The purposes of the course are:

To show how the Enactor solution is deployed on specific hardware, operating systems and peripherals
To enable the attendees to deploy the Enactor solution in-store
To provide guidance on how to deploy Enactor within a repeatable gold build implementation process

After attending the course, participants should:

Be able to install the Enactor store applications on their own hardware
Be able to configure POS Terminals to use supported hardware such as scanners and printers
Understand the principles of device and peripheral integration using Enactor
Understand the principles of device and peripheral integration using JPOS

There will be breaks and opportunities to ask questions throughout the day.
