Register the Device in EM

Step 1: Register the Device in EM​

Device Maintenance:

  • Go to EM -- Device Maintenance
  • Copy an existing device with similar settings
  • Set a unique Device ID matching your .ini file
  • Format: [type][#]@[LocationID].[company] e.g. pos1@LON001.enactor

POS Terminal Maintenance:

  • Go to EM -- POS Terminal Maintenance
  • Copy an existing terminal entry
  • Select your Device ID, set Terminal Name and Number

Warning: Device IDs are case-sensitive. If using a Store Server, broadcast Device and POS Terminal to it before running the POS installer.
