Financial Configuration​

Getting financial setup right is essential -- if tenders aren't configured, your demo will fall flat at checkout.

Currency and Tenders:

  • EM -- Financial -- Currency Maintenance -- Ensure demo currency (e.g. GBP) exists and is set as default
  • EM -- Financial -- Tender Maintenance -- Minimum: Cash, Card, Gift Card, Loyalty, Credit Note
  • Each tender has a type (CASH, CREDIT_CARD, etc.) and needs a region

Card and Cash Management:

  • For demos without hardware, use the test/simulator
  • Enable cash management tenders: Float, Pickup, Cashup, Spot Check
  • Set Open Drawer flag on cash tenders
  • Configure denomination entry (by value or quantity)

Warning: After any financial changes, push via EM -- Predefined Broadcast.
