Remote vs Onsite Demos
Onsite:
- Bring a printed scan sheet
- Arrive early, test on venue's network
- Have a test card ready if using PDC hardware
- Check projector/screen connectivity
- Ensure Wi-Fi can reach EM or Store Server
Remote:
- Run demo locally -- don't screen-share from server
- Pre-load all journeys before the call
- Dual monitors -- demo on one, script on the other
- Test audio/video before the call
- Have backup barcodes ready to type manually
Tip: Golden rule: Never demo something you haven't tested end-to-end in the last 24 hours.
