Remote vs Onsite Demos

Onsite:

  • Bring a printed scan sheet
  • Arrive early, test on venue's network
  • Have a test card ready if using PDC hardware
  • Check projector/screen connectivity
  • Ensure Wi-Fi can reach EM or Store Server

Remote:

  • Run demo locally -- don't screen-share from server
  • Pre-load all journeys before the call
  • Dual monitors -- demo on one, script on the other
  • Test audio/video before the call
  • Have backup barcodes ready to type manually

Tip: Golden rule: Never demo something you haven't tested end-to-end in the last 24 hours.
