Course Overview

Course Objectives

By the end of this one-day course, attendees will be able to:

  • Explain the Enactor payments architecture and the role of the PDC
  • Configure Adyen payment credentials and tender types in Estate Manager
  • Install and configure the PDC on a Windows server
  • Set up PED devices via TMS and connect them to the PDC
  • Deploy and onboard Adyen mobile Tap to Pay (MPOC) devices
  • Perform end-to-end payment transactions
  • Monitor payment devices and troubleshoot common issues

This course is designed for:

  • Deployment Engineers responsible for installing payment infrastructure
  • Solution Architects who need to understand the Enactor payments stack
  • Support Engineers who will maintain and troubleshoot payment devices
  • Partner Technical Teams deploying Enactor with Adyen integration

Recommended class size: 4-8 attendees.


Prerequisites

Attendees should have:

  • Working knowledge of Enactor Estate Manager
  • Basic understanding of Enactor POS and TMS
  • Familiarity with Windows Server administration
  • Access to an Adyen test merchant account (provided during training if needed)
  • A deployed Enactor Estate Manager and TMS environment

Infrastructure Requirements

The following infrastructure is required for hands-on exercises:

  • Enactor Estate Manager (deployed and accessible)
  • Enactor TMS (deployed and accessible)
  • Windows machine for PDC installation
  • Android device for Tap to Pay (MPOC) exercises
  • Network connectivity between all components
  • Adyen test merchant account with API and HMAC keys
