What is the PDC?​

PDC architecture - POS terminals connect through PDC to PED devices and TMS

  • Stand-alone Java application
  • Sits between POS terminals and PED devices
  • Allows any number of POS to share any number of PEDs
  • Breaks the "one POS = one PED" dependency

Architecture flow:

POS 1 ---|

         TMS / PDMS (connected to PDC)

The PDC acts as a central broker between POS terminals and payment devices. Multiple POS terminals connect to a single PDC, which then routes payment requests to the appropriate PED or MPOC device. The TMS (Terminal Management System) provides configuration and monitoring.
