Before diving into setup, it is worth understanding how the pieces fit together.

Estate Manager

The Estate Manager is the central management platform -- all configuration, product data, promotions, user management, and reporting lives here. The Store Server sits locally in the store and acts as the link between the cloud and in-store devices. Fixed POS and SCO terminals connect to the Store Server or directly to the Estate Manager.

The Mobile Server is a separate component covered in Module 2.
