Place the .ini config file and the .msi Windows installer in the same folder, then run the installer.

Verify in EM

The installer registers the Enactor POS Services for background processing and writes the config to C:\Enactor\pos\config\enactor.xml (passwords are encrypted automatically after install).

MariaDB must be installed and the local database set up before the POS will work.

Verifying the Install

• Check C:\Enactor\pos\logs\common.log -- look for database connectivity and subscription messages
• Navigate to EM > Active Subscriptions and confirm the device ID shows up as connected

If the device appears in Active Subscriptions, the installation is complete and the device is communicating with the Estate Manager.
