Thin Client Setup -- iOS​

The thin client app streams the POS UI from the Edge Server. It needs a stable connection to the Edge Server.

Install: Open Safari, locate the thin client app file provided by Enactor, and follow the on-screen prompts. The app will appear on the home screen.

Trust the certificate (first time only): Go to Settings > General > Device Management, select "Enactor Ltd," tap "Trust Enactor Ltd," and confirm.

Configure: Tap the gear icon on the splash screen. Enter:

  • Host Name -- Edge Server IP
  • Port -- 39901
  • Device ID -- e.g. mpos1@YOURLOCATION.enactor
  • View Type ID -- HTMLPosPDP

Tap Back and the device is connected.
